What we collect

When you ask a career question, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, date of birth, and your question. Your date of birth is used to personalize the astrological portion of your reading.

We also collect basic usage analytics through Google Analytics (for example, which pages are visited) to understand how the site is used and improve it. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

How we use it

To generate and display your reading, and to email you a copy of it.

To send daily readings or updates, only if you sign up for them.

To operate, maintain, and improve CosmoTropy — for example, understanding which topics readers find useful.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

Email

Reading-related emails are sent through Resend. Every marketing-style email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can stop non-essential emails at any time by contacting us. Transactional emails (like a copy of a reading you requested) are part of the service itself.

Data storage and security

Your information is stored with our infrastructure providers (including Supabase for data storage). We take reasonable steps to protect it, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@cosmotropy.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

CosmoTropy is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here and revise the date below.
